Option 1: Stewardship
Available to active parishioners of St. Nicholas and St. Anthony parishes
Active parishioner is defined as:
Registered with the parish office as a parishioner (due before school registration)
Completed Parish Pledge Card (due by end of first quarter); there is no set minimum expectation for Sunday Collection
Contribute 40 volunteer hours (counted from first day of summer break until last day of school, may be completed at St. Nicholas, St. Anthony, or at the school)
At least 50% Mass attendance at St. Nicholas or St. Anthony on Saturday evening or Sunday determined by use of collection envelopes (averaged over each school grading quarter)
St. Anthony will transfer the actual cost to educate on a monthly basis to St. Nicholas
Failure to complete the requirements by due date will result in: (a) written reminder and/or invitation for a personal conference to discuss any issues, then (b) Loss of Stewardship Option.
Loss of Stewardship Option results in future enrollment at St. Nicholas based only on Tuition Option 3.
Option 2: Partial Stewardship/Partial Tuition
Available to active parishioners of St. Nicholas and St. Anthony parishes
Active parishioner is defined as:
Registered with the parish office as a parishioner (due before school registration)
Completed Parish Pledge Card (due by end of first quarter); there is no set minimum expectation for Sunday Collection
Contribute 20 volunteer hours (counted from first day of summer break until last day of school, may be completed at St. Nicholas, St. Anthony, or at the school)
At least 50% Mass attendance at St. Nicholas or St. Anthony on Saturday evening or Sunday determined by use of collection envelopes (averaged over each school grading quarter)
St. Anthony will transfer the actual cost to educate on a monthly basis to St. Nicholas
Parital Stewardship School Families will:
Submit all necessary paperwork to apply for the 50% CHOICE Scholarship or SGO from Institute for Quality Education.
Agree to access Free/Reduced Lunch Program and/or SGO Funding if qualified
Review the actual cost of education at St. Nicholas and agree to be as generous as possible in financial support of their parish.
Note: Exceptional circumstances might permit deviation from requirements as approved by school office.
Failure to complete the requirements by due date will result in: (a) written reminder and/or invitation for a personal conference to discuss any issues, then (b) Loss of Partial Stewardship Option.
Loss of Stewardship Option results in future enrollment at St. Nicholas based only on Tuition Option 3.
Option 3: Tuition
Tuition for the coming school year is $5,015 per student (3-Day Kindergarten prorated $3,015). Registration and Books & Fees are included in the tuition. Payment is due by Aug. 5, 2019 or establish a payment plan by electronic transfer from a checking account to OSV Online Giving, concluding before the last day of school.
Agree to apply for Free/Reduced Lunch Program
School families that qualify for Indiana Choice Scholarships (voucher) will meet in January to discuss expenses that are not covered by the voucher.
There is no longer a volunteer requirement for tuition families, although volunteering is encouraged
If receiving a subsidy from a parish other than St. Nicholas or St. Anthony, please attach a letter to this commitment contract from that parish stating their subsidy commitment.
Failure to complete payment will result in non-enrollment at end of current school year unless all bills are brought current and all future bills are paid in full before the start of the school year.
