Academic team is for 5th and 6th grade students.  The students study questions in religion, math, english, science, social studies and general.  They prepare themselves for the Academic meet that is scheduled each spring.

Congratulations to our Academic Team!!  On March 2, 2019, our St. Nicholas team won first place in the Religion and General Knowledge categories!!

The Speech Team is open to both 5th and 6th graders.  Each school is allowed to have a team of 10 students:  3 in the serious category, 3 in the humorous category, and 2 duet teams.  The team is coached by several teachers.  The annual Batesville Deanery Speech Team Contest is held in the fall in each year.

Congratulations to our Speech Team for an excellent performance at the Oldenburg Speech Invitational!  Our St. Nicholas team earned 6 blue ribbons and 4 red ribbons.  Thank you students and coaches!
