St. Nicholas School offers the following team sports:
Volleyball for girls grades 5-8, basketball for boys and girls in grades 5-8; cheerleading for girls grades 5-8 and Archery for students in grades 4-8. They play all of the surrounding schools, public and private, that are usually within a half hour drive. Our sports programs are designed to teach the basic skills, teamwork, and respect necessary to play the sport while being the light of Christ on and off the court. While our teams are competitive, we strive to instill virtue in our student athletes just as the end of our team prayer states: “Let our lives praise you and bring glory to you."
Girls' Volleyball The official girls' volleyball season is from August - October. Girls learn to play as a team and they learn individual skills necessary to be competitive. They play against area schools and practice at St. Nicholas after school.
